Description: The Coghill River weir is approximately 1.75 miles up river from tidewater. The fishery occurs along the entire length of the river and in the lake, but the area within 300 feet of the weir is closed. Fish can travel from salt water to the weir within a few hours but this is highly dependant on water flow and tide level. The current escapement goal for Sockeye is 20,000 to 75,000.
