(Anchorage) - Want to help stock rainbow trout and Arctic grayling? Join Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) staff from the William Jack Hernandez Sport Fish Hatchery for two public stocking events. Join us at Cheney Lake in Anchorage on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. to help stock rainbow trout. Join us at Finger Lake on Thursday, May 30, 2019, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. to help stock Arctic grayling and rainbow trout.

This is public event and all ages are welcome. ADF&G staff will provide the fish and buckets for fish release. Please leave plenty of space for the stocking truck to access to the lake. The events will end when fish run out, or at 6:30 p.m., whichever comes first.

Don’t forget to bring a fishing rod and your license to fish the lake after the event.
