(Anchorage) - The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), Division of Sport Fish has released the 2018 seasonal summaries for the eight Southcentral management areas, Anchorage, Bristol Bay, Kodiak, Lower Cook Inlet, North Cook Inlet, North Gulf Coast, North Kenai Peninsula, and Prince William Sound. The seasonal summaries include a comprehensive review of the sport fishing management actions that ADF&G implemented preseason and throughout the season for Chinook, sockeye, and coho salmon and personal use dip net, shrimp sport and subsistence, and tanner crab fisheries. The reports also include a table of the Southcentral escapement goals and actual escapements from 2009-2018.
