(Statewide) - Have you visited one of our local area offices during the summer months? If so, you probably know that during peak fishing season, you might be standing in line for a long time before chatting with a staff member! Did you know that most of your licenses, permits, and stamps can be bought online from the comfort of your own home? Although this process may seem complicated at first, we have just the fishing forum for you to watch. So, if you need to buy anything for your busy summer fishing (or even hunting season), pull up the online store, and join us for a tutorial!

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), Division of Sport Fish, will be hosting an online fishing forum titled, “ Get Your Licenses and Permits Online” on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game YouTube channel. This 20-minute fishing forum leads you through the online store step-by-step and gives you all the tools you need to buy any licenses and permits that are required. You can even buy your license with us during the presentation! The presentation will be available on YouTube on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. ADF&G staff will be available to answer any questions in real-time on the YouTube chat from 7:00-7:20 p.m. and will be available to reply to questions in the comments following the presentation. The presentation will then remain on the ADF&G YouTube channel and can be viewed any time after the premiere.
