(Statewide) – The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), Division of Sport Fish, will be releasing a behind-the-scenes video tour of the Ruth Burnett Sport Fish Hatchery in Fairbanks. This 14-minute video follows ADF&G hatchery staff through each stage of the process – from catching fish in the field for eggs to raising fish in our unique hatchery facility, and finally, to stocking fish into lakes for the benefit of anglers.

The video will be released as a YouTube premiere on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game YouTube channel on Monday, July 19, 2021, from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. During the premiere, ADF&G staff will be available in the YouTube chat to answer any questions. Following the premiere, the video will remain available on our YouTube channel, as well as on the hatchery webpage on the ADF&G website.
