Welcome to Yakutat Area Sport Fishing Tour
Find your place. Find your fish.
The Yakutat area stretches from Cape Fairweather to Cape Suckling along the gulf coast of Alaska, a distance of approximately 275 miles. The City of Yakutat is the only permanent settlement along this remote stretch of coastline and has a population of approximately 650 people.
The Yakutat road system provides access to a variety of excellent freshwater and saltwater sport fishing locations, while more remote, fly-out areas give anglers an opportunity to share in a wild and pristine fishing experience.
This interactive map is a guide to sport fishing opportunities in the Yakutat area providing information on popular fishing locations, species run timing, fishing gear selection as well as boat and angler access.
Please be sure to check the ADF&G Sport Fishing Regulations, Emergency Orders and News Releases, and Weekly Sport Fishing Reports before heading out on the water.
