Bear Paw Lake was first stocked by ADFG in 1982 with coho salmon (SS), then again with SS from 1984-1986, SS and rainbow trout (RT) in 1987, with SS in 1988, RT in 1990-1991, SS in 1992, and SS and RT in 1993. Since 1995, SS and RT have been annually stocked. Fishing has only been fair.
