Christiansen Lake was first stocked by ADFG in 1953 with steelhead/rainbow trout (RT) fry, stocked with RT from 1974-1975, then with coho salmon (SS) in 1976, 1978, and 1984-1998. RT fingerling were stocked in 1989-1990, 1993, 1995 and 1997-1998. Public contact with local residents indicate Christiansen Lake is a popular winter ice fishery with good success rates.
