Site Comments: Site is runs under a driveway next to 2nd Avenue. Site is about 30 feet downstream from culvert 117_2007 and 60 feet upstream from site 115_2007.

Survey Date: Jul 21, 2017

Survey KEN17-116_2007

Observers: Jeff Sires, Louis Mitchell, Luke Violette

Overall Fish Passage Rating: Gray

Tidal: No
Backwatered: No

Step Pools: No
Construction Year:

Site Observations:

  1. Culvert gradient gray
  2. Damage associated with ice problems
  3. Mechanical damage or joints parting

Comments: KWFRES_17_12. Culvert assessment submitted by Kenai Watershed Forum. Stream is ditched upstream and downstream from culvert. Downstream stream gradient and OHW measurements used taken from below last culvert downstream 112_2007. Culvert technically embedded most likely through natural deposition or road fill eroding into creek. Culvert not set to within 1% of culvert gradient. Creek is ditched upstream and downstream from culvert. Lots of other driveway culverts upstream and downstream on this creek. Long Profile uses same TBM as 112 and 115 and is tied to the other upstream surveys with a secondary TBM in the profile.
