* Just a reminder to all our anglers, please do your part to help slow the spread of Covid-19 by practicing social distancing while sport and personal use fishing, and wearing a face-covering when social distancing is not possible, and if you are needing fishing supplies from your local store.

Freshwater Fishing

  • Fishing for Arctic char is reported to be fair to good at river mouths emptying into most Bristol Bay lakes.
  • Fishing for rainbow trout and Arctic grayling is reported to be fair to good. Salmon have just begun spawning, so egg imitations will begin to be more effective.
  • Fishing for northern pike is reported to be fair to good with fishing concentrated around weeded bays and sloughs.
  • Fishing for coho salmon in Bristol Bay is slow however fish should begin to arrive in greater numbers soon.

Saltwater Fishing

  • Halibut fishing near Protection Point is reported to be slow.
