(Anchorage) - Are you new to salmon fishing and want to learn how to target coho salmon? If so, join Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) staff at the William Jack Hernandez Sport Fish Hatchery (WJHSFH) on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a beginner coho salmon fishing seminar! This seminar will be held in the WJHSFH conference room, located at 941 North Reeve Boulevard, Anchorage.

This is a free event for all angler levels who are interested in learning basic techniques to fish for coho salmon. This course will specifically cover information that will help brand new anglers feel comfortable wetting a line for coho salmon. ADF&G staff will also be available to discuss coho salmon fishing regulations for Southcentral Alaska.
