The 2014 Prince William Sound sport, personal use, and subsistence shrimp season closes by regulation at 11:59 p.m., Monday, September 15, 2012. All shrimp permits must be returned to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game no later than October 15.

New for 2014!
There are now three ways to return your shrimp permit/reports:

1. Shrimp permits are self-addressed and can be folded, stamped and mailed,
2. They can be personally delivered to the department office in Anchorage,

…or…

3. Your shrimp permit/report can be scanned and emailed to dfg.pws.shrimp@alaska.gov

Permits must be returned even if the permit holder did not fish.

The prompt return of all permits is necessary to manage this popular resource and to ensure that this tremendous opportunity will continue to be available in the future.
