Matanuska Valley Advisory Committee

The Mat Valley AC has 15 seats. The 15 current members reside in Big Lake, Palmer, and Wasilla. The AC meets monthly during the board cycle and actively participate in both fisheries and game management issues. They have strong sport and personal use fishery, as well as hunting, subsistence and trapping interests. Areas of jurisdiction for the Mat Valley AC are: GMUs 13, 14, and 15; and Cook Inlet–Resurrection Bay fisheries.
