Sow playing with her cub

Four grizzly bears were equipped with collar-mounted video cameras in mid-May, 2011, in Southcentral Alaska's Copper River Basin. Each camera took a 10-second video once every 15 minutes, and cameras and video files were retrieved a month later by wildlife biologists with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. A selection of these "bear's eye view" clips can be viewed here. The bear's chin is at the side and top of the frame.
