Reporting Requirements

  • Successful Hunters
    • Report within 5 days of kill. Complete permit hunt report online (http://www.hunt.alaska.gov ) or return permit report card to Fairbanks ADF&G.
    • Specimens Required: None
  • Unsuccessful Hunters
    Report no later than Mar. 15. Complete permit hunt report online (http://www.hunt.alaska.gov ) or return permit report card to Fairbanks ADF&G.
  • Internet Reporting
    You may report online at http://www.hunt.alaska.gov

Hunting Conditions

1) WHEN:
Oct. 15 - Feb. 28, unless season is closed by Emergency Order.

2) WHERE:
Minto Flats Management Area within Unit 20B

3) BAG LIMIT:
One (1) antlerless moose.

4) REPORTING:
Successful: report within 5 days of kill; Unsuccessful: report no later than Mar. 15. Complete permit hunt report online
(http://hunt.alaska.gov) or return completed permit report card by mail or in person to Fairbanks ADF&G.

5) REMEMBER:
Aircraft or airboats may not be used for moose hunting or to transport moose, moose hunters, or moose hunting
equipment within the Minto Flats Management Area.

6) WHO QUALIFIES:
Alaska residents only. Limit of one (1) permit per household.

7) PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO REPORT:
If you fail to report, you will not be eligible to receive any permits (Drawing, Tier II, or Registration, including Tier I
Nelchina Caribou) during the next regulatory year. In addition, your name will be turned over to the Alaska Wildlife
Troopers for enforcement action.
