Reporting Requirements

  • Successful Hunters
    • hunters must return the completed hunt report, and the lower front teeth to the ADF&G office in Douglas within five (5) days of kill.
    • Specimens Required: lower front teeth
  • Unsuccessful Hunters
    All hunt reports must be returned, or reports submitted online at http://www.hunt.alaska.gov by November 3, 2014.
  • Internet Reporting
    If you hunted unsuccessfully or did not hunt, you may report online at http://www.hunt.alaska.gov

Hunting Conditions

This permit is valid for the taking of one (1) bull moose in Unit 1(C), except Berners Bay, Gustavus and south of Point Hobart, covered by Registration Hunt #RM046 in accordance with the current Alaska Hunting Regulations and conditions described below:

1. Season dates: September 15 - October 15, 2014.

2. Successful hunters must return the completed hunt report and lower front teeth to the ADF&G office in Douglas within five (5) days of kill.

3. All hunt reports must be returned, or reported online at http://hunt.alaska.gov by close of business November 3, 2014. If you fail to report, you will not be eligible to receive any permits (drawing, tier II and registration) during the next regulatory year. In addition, your name will be turned over to Alaska Wildlife Troopers for enforcement action.

4. Legal Moose: Bull.

All successful hunters are asked to provide a photograph of their moose antlers to the ADF&G office in Douglas, or, to send an electronic image via email to ryan.scott@alaska.gov.
