Discovery Labs

1st Wednesday in December 2012 and February, April, and May 2013 3-5 pm

Residents and visitors of all ages are invited to join KBRR staff, volunteers and community partners for our monthly Discovery Labs in the AK Islands & Ocean Visitor Center's lab classroom.

National Estuaries Day

The last Saturday of September each year is National Estuaries Day, a day to celebrate the vibrant coastal areas where rivers meet the sea - estuaries. Celebrated on the last Saturday in September, National Estuaries Day is a great opportunity to learn about these magical ecosystems and how you can help to protect them.
