My main responsibility is to provide technical assistance to the many different research projects conducted at the Kachemak Bay Research Reserve. I have been working at the Reserve since 2004, and have been involved in a wide range of projects including the creation of a GIS map of the intertidal habitat of Kachemak Bay. More recently, I have been assisting the National Marine Mammal Laboratory in their study of harbor seals in Cook Inlet.

My previous research experience has focused on the behavioral ecology of marine mammals, and I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Alaska Southeast.
