Hunter Information and Training (HIT) Clinics
The HIT Clinic series offers Alaskans the opportunity to gain new hunting skills or sharpen existing skills. Clinic topics vary year to year and are based on the public's interest. Past clinic topics have included: bear hunting, sheep hunting, trophy skinning, waterfowl hunting, reloading, and bear baiting. Other topics of interest have included field care of big game, survival for hunters, navigation, calling big game, wilderness medicine, rifle marksmanship, and shotgun skills.
These clinics will be advertised in local newspapers, on local radio stations, and with flyers at local sporting stores. You can also contact the Hunter Information & Training Program at (907) 267-2534 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about the HIT Clinics.
Registration and payment for all clinics, unless noted below, is online. Registration will open approximately 3 weeks prior to the class date.
The 2020 clinic schedule will be available mid-December.
