Access Information

Fishing on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson requires, in addition to a valid State of Alaska fishing license, a Recreational Access Permit. Permits may be obtained online, or at kiosks located in both JBER visitor's centers.

  • Directions: From Boniface gate drive straight onto Vandenberg Ave. At 0.7 mile, stay left at stoplight onto Arctic Warrior Drive. Continue 2.3 miles then turn right onto Fairchild Ave. Continue 1.7 miles, turn left onto Airlifter Road and drive 1.9 miles. Turn left onto Green Lake Road, to arrive at Green Lake parking area.
