Access Information

Fishing on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson requires, in addition to a valid State of Alaska fishing license, a Recreational Access Permit. Permits may be obtained online, or at kiosks located in both JBER visitor's centers.

  • Directions: From Ft. Rich/Arctic Valley gate drive straight on "D" St. 2.2 miles. Turn right on Otter Lake Road and drive 2.3 miles. Continue straight onto Route Bravo for 4.5 miles then turn right at the 3-way intersection onto Artillary Road. (there is a sign that reads β€œTo All Lakes?”). Continue for 3.7 miles until the turnoff for Clunie Lake (there is a sign at the turn off) on the right.
