Access Information

Fishing on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson requires, in addition to a valid State of Alaska fishing license, a Recreational Access Permit. Permts may be obtained onilne, or at kiosks located in both JBER visistor's centers.

  • Directions: Is located on Elmendorf military reservation. Public must check in at main gate at Boniface. After May 27, 1996, Wildlife MP's will issue a card for fishing on base. Proof of current fishing license must be shown. More information can be obtained by calling 552-2436 during regular office hours or the hot line number at 552-2282.
