Kevin Brooks Kevin Brooks serves as deputy commissioner for the Department of Fish and Game.

Kevin Brooks moved to Alaska from Detroit, Michigan, in 1983 and went to work for the State. Since that time he has held a number of accounting, budget, and management positions. Brooks previously held the director of Administrative Services position in the Department of Fish and Game from 1993 – 2004. He was the deputy commissioner in the Department of Administration from 2004 – 2010. He returned to the department in 2010 as the Administrative Services Directors and served in that position until 2012.

Brooks holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree (MBA) from the University of Alaska-Southeast. He and his family live in Juneau.
