Fishing in the surrounding communities of Angoon, Elfin Cove, Gustavus, and Hoonah and Tenakee
Description
Throughout the year the small communities of Angoon, Tenakee, Hoonah, Gustavus and Elfin Cove provide anglers with a wide variety of fishing opportunities both in fresh and salt water. Marine boat, shoreline, and freshwater fishing opportunities abound in these wonderful and somewhat remote locations. Anglers will find all five species of salmon as well as trout, char, halibut, rockfish and shellfish in these communities.
Getting There
Access to these small communities is by boat or plane only. There are regularly scheduled flights and/or ferry trips for most of these locations.
